The new data, which includes Black Friday spending, reveals a 2.8% month-on-month increase in daily average spending, moving from $60.52 to $62.23.

New data reveals a 1.01% month-on-month decrease in daily average spending, moving from $61.14 to $60.52. 

The September 2023 Cost of Living Index showed a month-on-month decrease in daily average spending to $61.14 from $61.92 in August.

Average daily spending was at $61.92 in August 2023, down from $65.13 in July ​2023.
